My daughter's temperature rose last night before bed, so I gave her ibuprofen to help her sleep peacefully. Is that correct? Shouldn't the body fight it on its own? I probably am not a normal mom. I understand intellectually that the body should fight it itself, but... I just can't, we rarely get sick. Yesterday I saw those red cheeks, discomfort, and she was trembling. Can I do what I'm doing? ? Or should the body fight it on its own? She rarely has a fever during the day when she's sick, mostly at night.
