My daughter stopped cooing; she is 2 months old. 3-4 days ago, she was cooing constantly, but now she just smiles and that's all. Maybe her tummy is bothering her? She is turning her head from side to side. She looks around and gets distracted when I talk, although before this, she used to look at me for a long time and respond to me.

В этом возрасте дети начинают проявлять больше интереса к окружающему миру, они начинают изучать свои руки, ноги, лица и просто наслаждаются наблюдением. Возможно, ее животик действительно беспокоит ее, но если у вас есть какие-то серьезные опасения, лучше обратиться к врачу. Не волнуйтесь слишком сильно, это нормальный процесс развития ребенка.

We had the same thing, my daughter stopped babbling, I was worried. I thought maybe it was because of the vaccination. But it seems to me that they have such a period when they quiet down for some reason. Now, thankfully, everything is good with her development 🙏.
