Has anyone else experienced this, where children don't sleep at night?...

Has anyone else experienced this, where children don't sleep at night? For a week now, our son hasn't been sleeping at all during the night. He plays, doesn't cry, and goes to bed in the morning, then gets up in the afternoon. It's the same routine every day. Naturally, I don't let him sleep during the day after that, but he still stays up all night. I don't know what to do anymore. My husband's sister also used to stay up at night when she was little, drawing and playing. My mother says he needs to see a doctor, but what's the point? We've been to several neurologists, and none have seen any abnormalities.

It's possible that your son simply has an irregular sleep-wake cycle. Some children need less sleep than others, and this can be normal for them. However, if this situation has been ongoing for a week and it's causing you concern, it might be worth consulting a pediatrician or trying another consultation with a neurologist. It may make sense to conduct additional examinations to rule out any medical reasons for such behavior. Do not delay visiting a doctor if you are worried about your child's behavior.

"What time do you go to bed? Try getting up an hour earlier each day. For a couple of days, there won't be any change, but then you'll start going to bed earlier at night. Then, get up an hour earlier again, and so on, until you adjust your schedule. I hadn't slept by 2:10 in the afternoon. It couldn't be helped. We used to go to bed at 9 PM and get up at 8 AM."

Кристина , Now he goes to sleep only around 3-4 in the morning. By 7 in the evening, he gets tired, but for some reason, he sleeps like it's daytime and then wakes up around 8-9, and stays up until 3 in the morning. Usually, if he didn't nap during the day, he would go to bed at 7-8 in the evening for the night. But this week, it's as if he's taking a daytime nap late in the evening, and only in the morning does he go to sleep properly.

Кристина , It turns out he sleeps 8-9 hours a day. And that's not enough.

Change the routine. He is already used to it. Wake him up at 10 AM without regrets, have a nap from 1 to 3 PM, and bedtime at 10 PM. He will recover in a couple of days. He might not even need the afternoon nap. Before bedtime, a bath with toys is a must, and you can give him half a teaspoon of magnesium at night.
