Hello everyone, moms, could you please tell me if your daughters around our age ever experienced something like this: she itches her private area, she doesn't cry during urination, but seems uncomfortable after urinating, we didn't sleep at all last night, she couldn't sleep because of the itching. We maintain good hygiene, washing after each pee, she wears regular panties during the day, and I only put diapers on her at night. What could this be, should I consult a gynecologist? It's just that visiting doctors is another stress for her, she was ill with a gastrointestinal issue in October and experienced stress, then I was in the maternity ward for two weeks, her stress from my absence, and now taking her to a gynecologist, I don't know how she will handle it.

First, try consulting a pediatrician, as it could be related to some inflammation or allergy. The pediatrician will be able to examine and provide recommendations for further actions. If the pediatrician deems it necessary, they may refer you to a gynecologist. The main thing is not to delay the visit to the doctor, to rule out possible serious problems. It is important to take care of your daughter's health.

I also got my daughter used to washing frequently. If she isn't washed on time or I'm not around (I was also in the maternity hospital, then stayed with jaundice), I wouldn't let anyone wash her properly. Later, redness with blisters appeared, she scratched and said "ouch". And it turned out to be chickenpox ?.

It might be an allergy to the detergent. Try washing the underwear with regular bar soap. It took me a very long time to find the right one for my son. Since birth, I used "Nasha Mama," he only tolerated soap made from bar soap, now "Aistenok" seems to suit us. Otherwise, he was constantly itching and breaking out in rashes while we were trying to find the right detergent.

"Could this be cystitis? Show it to a urologist."
