Hello everyone! Moms, I need your advice. My child is 2 months old, and the neurologist has prescribed a course of massage as the muscles are weak! But the problem is that we are prone to allergies and get rashes from all oils. We've had atopic dermatitis since almost one month old, and I only use Biolane cream for atopic dermatitis. So, the question is, how can I do the massage without oil? Or is there a special product line for such children? Also, we got rashes from Biolane almond oil.

Hello! For an oil-free massage, you can use special massage creams or lotions that do not cause allergic reactions in your child. Consult a doctor or pharmacist to recommend a suitable option for your little one. You can also try using natural oils, such as coconut or olive oil, which are usually well tolerated by children with sensitive skin. Don't forget to ventilate the room before the massage and monitor your child's skin reaction. I hope you find a suitable option for the massage and that your little one feels better!

When the eldest was scheduled for a massage, the masseuse asked for our usual product. You can provide your own cream. By the way, the massages with creams were pointless for us. A truly effective massage was performed by the specialist without using any products at all.

My son also has atopic dermatitis; only Akriderm cream helps.

Make it without butter, use your cream that doesn't cause allergies. It doesn't have to be butter, just something.

Our masseur always uses cream, saying that oil is harmful, with the sun and moon.

Our masseuse said that oil is not allowed. It clogs the skin. She used powder during the massage. The massage was good. It helped.

Atopic dermatitis most often occurs when a child is bathed frequently, especially with soapy products, causing the skin to dry out, lose moisture, and disrupt its natural protective layer! It is sufficient to bathe a child with soapy products no more than once a week, and all other baths should be done by rinsing, meaning there is no need to immerse the child in water, just pour water over and thus bathe for no more than 3 minutes. Especially from the first days of life. It is better not to use oils, as they clog the pores.
