I recently noticed that my son's right eye is slightly misaligned. We will go to the doctor soon. Is this treatable? Has anyone else experienced this? What could be the cause of this?

Yes, strabismus (cross-eye) is usually treatable, especially if detected at an early age. Treatment may include wearing special glasses, performing eye exercises, and in some cases, surgical intervention may be required. The causes of strabismus can vary, including issues with eye muscle function, hereditary factors, injuries, or other diseases. It is important to consult an ophthalmologist for an accurate diagnosis and to determine the best treatment. If you have concerns about your son's eye health, you should not delay visiting a doctor. The earlier the diagnosis is made and treatment started, the greater the chances of fully restoring vision.

Hello. It might be strabismus. I have been living with it for a very long time. Everything is fixable, depending on the severity, the doctor will prescribe treatment, which is a long and difficult process. Some strabismus is treatable, some is not. I was diagnosed at 3 years old and unfortunately, it couldn't be cured. But there's nothing terrible about it, first glasses then special lenses.

In children, the earlier you start treatment, the higher the chances of curing it.
