Good afternoon. Has anyone dealt with stomatitis? My child is almost 6 months old, is moderately fussy, and I just happened to notice two deep sores on the upper palate. Holisal seems to be for children older than 3 years. For now, I'm soaking the pacifier in chamomile and furacilin (we don't even suck on it, just chew it) and trying to cope with whatever I can. How long does this last? It’s impossible to reach there with a cotton swab; he doesn’t even want to open his mouth.

Hello! Stomatitis is an inflammation of the mucous membrane of the mouth, which can manifest as sores, red spots, swellings, and more. In children, stomatitis can arise from various causes such as viruses, bacteria, injuries, allergies, etc. For the treatment of stomatitis in children, it is recommended to use antiseptic solutions for mouth rinsing, such as furacilin, miramistin, or chlorhexidine. Gels and ointments for treating the sores can also be used, such as solcoseryl or kamistad. Stomatitis usually resolves within 1-2 weeks, but if the symptoms do not disappear or worsen, it is advisable to consult a dentist for consultation and to prescribe effective treatment. Try treating the child's sores with an antiseptic solution several times a day and monitor the condition of the mouth. If the symptoms do not improve, be sure to consult a doctor. I hope your little one gets better soon!

See a doctor. Why fill such a small child with chemicals? Let them take a look and say what's wrong and what needs to be done.

Asepta or Solcoseryl Dental directly sealed the wounds, so the doctor said.

In the sauna, there are no age restrictions, but it is advisable to consult a doctor beforehand.
