Hello everyone, can anyone tell me how long it took for their postpartum discharge to stop? It's been 7 weeks since I gave birth, and I still have slight bloody discharge. Is this normal, or should I rush to see a doctor?

Hello! Normally, postpartum discharge (lochia) lasts about 6 weeks after childbirth. However, for some women, it can continue up to 8 weeks. If you still have bloody discharge after 7 weeks, it is recommended to consult a doctor for further examination and advice. It's better to be safe and make sure everything is alright.

Mine ran out after a month and a half; up to 2 months is considered normal.
