Girls ? my baby is one month old, and this morning she woke up and started choking on milk or saliva, and couldn’t breathe in. I quickly turned her over and she screamed. There was mucus in her mouth, which she choked on several more times (but at least she was breathing). Then in the evening, she started choking again and threw up something slightly beige. What could be the problem?

Is there no runny nose? Is the nose dry?

Why aren't you going to the hospital? You can't delay with such children. At least call an ambulance and consult with them. You can call a doctor to your home (a private pediatrician).

Overly dry air in a room can cause mucus production. Lay the child on their side so they can burp and not choke, give them small amounts of water to drink, and air out the room to increase humidity.

Seek medical attention or call emergency services immediately. Choking and vomiting in an infant can be signs of serious problems, such as allergies, infection, or other illnesses. Only a specialist can conduct the necessary examination and prescribe treatment. Do not delay visiting a doctor, the child's health is of utmost importance.
