Syrup is not recommended for children under 5 years old. It is important to consider whether the child can cough well. I still haven't dared to give my child any cough syrup. We only treat the nose and give warm drinks.

However, syrups for dry cough usually contain ingredients that moisturize the mucous membrane of the throat and reduce irritation. You can go to a pharmacy and ask the pharmacist to recommend a suitable syrup for your child. Also, remember to follow the usage instructions and not exceed the dosage.
