Hello, girls. My child only sleeps in a lounger, and stays awake in it too. With gentle rocking, he falls asleep and sleeps for 1.5-2 hours. But it's only until 6-7 months old. Will there be any problems with putting the child to sleep after 6 months?

Hello! According to pediatricians, after 6 months, it is better for a child to sleep in a crib or bed to avoid potential problems with the spine and muscle development. A lounger may be convenient for a brief daytime nap, but it is not recommended to use it as the main sleeping place after 6 months. Try gradually transitioning the child to sleeping in a crib, putting them there for daytime naps and at night. It may take some time to adapt, but it is important to remember the health and comfort of the child.

I would rock her on my legs, placing a pillow on my legs (in a sitting position) with my legs slightly bent at the knees. I would lay my daughter down with her legs towards me and rock her from side to side. Then, I would gently move her next to me after removing the pillow, and that's how she would sleep. Sometimes, she would just sleep on my legs while I read... I rocked her in my arms, and her father would carry her in the "tiger on a branch" pose, which she loved the most. Just a little carrying around and she would fall asleep, and then we would move her. The conditions for falling asleep were always different. But most often, she would simply fall asleep on my chest.
