Hello, how did you wean off breastfeeding and put to sleep? For daytime and nighttime sleep, the baby falls asleep at the breast, and I want to wean off breastfeeding and am worried about how I will put the baby to sleep.

Hello! Weaning can be a challenging process for both the child and the parent. It's important to remember that every child is unique and the approach to weaning can be individualized. To start, you can try gradually reducing the number of breastfeedings throughout the day. You might replace one of the feedings with a bottle of breast milk or infant formula. You can also offer the child other forms of comfort, such as stroking, lullabies, or cozy swaddling. As for putting the child to sleep, you can try establishing a bedtime ritual that helps the child relax and fall asleep without nursing. For example, spend some time in a calm setting, read a book, or listen to music before sleep. It's important to be patient and support your child during this process. If you have concerns or questions about weaning, it is recommended to seek help from a pediatrician or a lactation consultant. They can provide individual recommendations and support during this important stage for you and your child.

Oh man, my oldest fell asleep on my chest, it was bliss. Now the younger one doesn't fall asleep like that at all; she eats and then starts playing again. I have to rock her to sleep ? my back is done. I don't remember how, but we switched to using a pillow. We rocked her on our legs, try turning off the light and lying down, maybe she'll fall asleep.

One day, I covered my chest with bandages. For a week, I tossed and turned in bed and cried, falling asleep in someone's arms or on a pillow. Then I read fairy tales in a whisper and fell asleep. Now, all that's left is to clean up at night.

During the day it was bearable, but at night she would cry for 2-3 or 4 days, then I got used to it. The main thing is not to leave the child alone. I weaned her abruptly as soon as I found out I was pregnant, but thankfully everything went smoothly, praise Allah! Especially since we live in a one-room apartment ? so I was always in sight))) I tried using brilliant green thinking she would be scared, I said "Booo, be scared" but she just kept playing, I thought she would be scared ???… The main thing is your mindset and not to worry too much. Ideally, if she cries at night, don't feed her otherwise she might get used to it. It's also not great for the stomach. So good luck to you and be patient?
