Hello, girls. Please tell me, I had a miscarriage, and it's been 22 days but the bleeding hasn't stopped. Last week, the ultrasound indicated not to take any pills because there were still remnants. Yesterday, I went again and they said there's nothing left in the uterus and prescribed pills which I have started taking, but the bleeding still hasn't stopped. There's also a very unpleasant and strong odor. I don't know what to do, or if the pills will start working. Has anyone been in this situation? Please advise, and afterwards, once the bleeding stops, how can I recover faster, what vitamins should I take? Thank you all.

Hello. I sympathize with your situation. If the bleeding does not stop, it is essential to consult a doctor for additional advice and possibly a treatment adjustment. Self-medication is not advisable as it can be dangerous for your health. Regarding recovery after a miscarriage, it is important to pay attention to your diet and overall health. Vitamins that can help recover from a miscarriage include B vitamins, vitamin C, iron, and folic acid. It is also important to consume an adequate amount of protein, iron, and other nutrients. In addition to vitamins, it is important to pay attention to your psychological state. Many women experience stress and sadness after a miscarriage, so it is important to seek help from a psychologist or psychotherapist if necessary. I hope you will be able to recover and find support during this difficult period. Take care of yourself and seek help from specialists.

If there's a smell, go to the maternity hospital immediately. It seems you might have an inflammatory process; the blood is decomposing. Although you say it's coming out, the smell is concerning.

The blood and smell indicate that the uterus is not completely clean. You need a good ultrasound doctor and a gynecologist, and most likely, a cleaning. Do not delay, an unpleasant smell = inflammation.

Definitely go see a doctor, and not just one, but get a second opinion, and it's advisable to have several ultrasounds done by different specialists as well. This issue is too serious to risk your health, or God forbid, lose your uterus, due to someone's possible oversight!
