Hello girls, can you tell me at what stage you felt the first kicks and movements? I haven't felt any little movements yet, but my husband can immediately catch the movements with his palm. I'm just a bit worried, I'm 16 weeks along. I'll have an ultrasound in a few days. The second screening is not anytime soon.

Hello! Every woman feels the first movements of the baby differently. Usually, the first kicks and movements can be felt between 18 and 22 weeks of pregnancy, but it can be earlier or later, depending on the individual characteristics of each woman and her baby. Оля , Perhaps you just don't yet understand the sensations; after all, it also depends on how the baby is positioned, where the placenta is. There have been times, even at a significant term, when there was a calm period that made me fearful, wondering if everything was alright.

If the ultrasound is all good, then there's no need to worry. I started feeling very early at over 14 weeks, initially tickles, and closer to 16 weeks, light kicks, and then it progressively increased. Some girls start feeling it later, around 20+ weeks.

All my pregnancies have been multiple, so I felt movements earlier. But 16 weeks is definitely not the limit ? By the 23rd week, you will definitely feel it ?
