Hello ladies, good afternoon. Please advise, it has been 7 months since my C-section. At the first ultrasound two months later, they said there was a discrepancy in the internal stitch. I saw 3 doctors, and they said it wasn't all that bad and there was just a cavity. Everything was fine, then 3 months postpartum I started having regular PMS. The ultrasound still showed a cavity, but they said to come back in 8-9 months from the date of the C-section to say for sure what's wrong. My period ended a week ago. And now, 7 days later, I started having bloody discharges, thick almost brown and mucous. What could this be? It's been like this for 5 days, coming out as if with thread-like streaks. I can't get an ultrasound right now, as we've flown to another country for 14 days.

Good day! Bloody discharge occurring a week after the end of menstruation can be caused by various reasons, including changes in hormonal background, inflammatory processes, uterine anomalies, or scars from a cesarean section. In your case, considering the history of the postpartum period and previous ultrasound examinations, it is recommended to consult a doctor for additional examination to determine the cause of the bloody discharge. It may be necessary to conduct an ultrasound examination and other diagnostic procedures to establish an accurate diagnosis and prescribe appropriate treatment. Do not delay visiting a doctor, especially if your condition worsens or other symptoms appear. Take care of yourself and your health!
