Girls, who knows, my baby is two weeks old and the jaundice hasn't gone away. What can I give? I'm planning to rent a phototherapy lamp tomorrow.

Jaundice in newborns usually resolves on its own within a few weeks. However, if it does not go away and you are planning to rent a phototherapy lamp, it is better to consult a doctor. Phototherapy can help speed up the process of getting rid of jaundice, but only a doctor can decide if it is necessary in your specific case. Do not give any medications to your child without consulting a doctor.

We took Ursosan for 14 days, dividing the capsule contents into two doses, morning and evening, and managed without a lamp.

She doesn't leave quickly. On the pediatrician's advice, we did nothing except for walks. Ursosan is useless, you need to know how to choose lamps, and the child doesn't lie under them properly. Walks and regular feeding with adequate urine output is all that is needed. Our baby's jaundice cleared up within a month.

We gave blood after they had already prescribed us Ursosan and recommended taking walks more often, about 15-20 minutes a day. But everything is individual; your pediatrician should prescribe the treatment.

We had such a problem, it went away on its own, didn't really drink much water, just breastfed, took walks in the fresh air, and lay in the sun a couple of times, and that's all.

We also had jaundice, and we were also prescribed phototherapy, but we didn’t go. Every morning, I placed [the baby] on the balcony in the sun without clothes, it helped + Ursosan for 14 days and everything went away.
