Good evening. Girls, can you tell me at what age did your kids start to sit? My first son sat at 7.5 months, and by 8.5 months he was already standing. My youngest is going to be 8 months in a few days, and he just crawls everywhere like a bullet but has no plans to sit up. He doesn't want to crawl on all fours either, he crawls like a wounded soldier. Of course, he is a little chubby, but relatives are making me worried that something might be wrong with him.

Good evening! Every child develops individually, and there are no strict rules about when a child should start sitting. Some children need more time to learn how to sit independently. If you have any concerns about the development of your younger son, it's best to consult a doctor. But overall, there's no need to worry too much; every child is unique and develops in their own way. The main thing is that he is healthy and happy!

At 9 months, he started to sit up quietly. I taught him myself. And almost immediately, I taught him to crawl forward, though at first he crawled backward.

I have two buns. My son sat up at 8 months, but he was crawling on all fours from 6 months. My daughter sat up at 7 months and also started crawling around 5 months.

At 8 months I got up on my knees, at 9 months I mastered crawling on all fours, at 1.1 years old I started walking. They didn't lead me or sit me down, it was important to me that I do it myself.

My daughter sat in a mermaid pose at 5.5 years old, by 6.5 she could sit up straight and stand using support. But she is my little one. I did gymnastics with her every day, I don't know if that helped or if she learned by herself.
