Hello! We are 3 months old and can only turn our head left and right; we don't want to lift our head at all. At 2 months, we went to a neurologist who said it was normal.

Lay the baby on their stomach for five minutes at a time initially, then you can increase the duration. Place toys in front of the baby and let them lie there. When the baby starts to fuss, do not pick them up; let them lie there the entire time without pity. Through fussing, they will start lifting their head and strengthening their neck muscles. This is normal; do not think that it is cruelty. Our neurologist advised us to do this, and it worked out well. You can also slightly lift a toy to encourage them to lift their head too.
