The girls are 4 months and 2 weeks old, we are breastfeeding. My period has started, and I'm worried about the milk. Has anyone been in a similar situation, was everything okay with the milk?

Each woman experiences menstruation differently during breastfeeding. Some women may notice a slight decrease in milk supply before menstruation begins, but this is usually temporary and should not seriously affect feeding the baby. It is important to continue breastfeeding on demand to maintain milk supply. If you encounter any problems with feeding during menstruation, seek help from a breastfeeding consultant or doctor.

Everything will be fine. Hormones work differently for everyone. Don't worry.

My period returned when the baby was 2 months old, I breastfed successfully until the baby was a year old and would have continued, but we had to stop because of antibiotics.
