Hello, I am pregnant. When I cry, my stomach hurts as if something is happening at the bottom. I have been feeling movement since the 14th week, as if there are butterflies flying in the lower part of my stomach. Now I am at 16 weeks. I had an ultrasound four days ago and was told everything is normal. For the past two days, I haven't felt the baby. What could this be?

Hello! Pain and discomfort during crying while pregnant can be caused by various reasons, such as the stretching of the uterine ligaments, changes in the body due to pregnancy, etc. The feeling of the baby moving in the lower abdomen usually starts from 14-16 weeks of pregnancy, so this is perfectly normal. However, if you suddenly stop feeling the baby's movements, it can be concerning. It is recommended to consult a doctor for further examination to make sure everything is okay with your baby. There is no need to panic prematurely; it is possible that the baby has just moved to a different position, making its movements less noticeable. But for your peace of mind, it is best to consult with a doctor.

Go to the clinic for an unscheduled appointment and let the doctor listen to the heartbeat. You shouldn't cry or get upset during pregnancy, especially at such an early stage. Ask the doctor if you can take some magnesium.
