Hello! Off-topic question. During the autumn-winter period, I have cracks on the fingers of my right hand, the skin peels and does not heal. Nothing helps, but as soon as it gets warmer outside, it immediately goes away. What could it be? A lack of vitamin D?

This is how my eczema manifests. The diagnosis is dyshidrotic eczema. I need to moisturize my hands before going outside and afterwards. Dry air in the apartment also triggers the eczema, so I was told to switch to a softer type of soap, like Dove. They also said to apply vitamin E from capsules, but it didn't help me.

Hello! The symptoms you described could be related to a vitamin D deficiency, as this vitamin plays an important role in maintaining skin health. However, for an accurate diagnosis and treatment prescription, it is recommended to consult a dermatologist or endocrinologist for necessary tests and consultation. Also, you may need to consult a doctor about skin care during the cold season to prevent cracking and flaking.
