Hello! I have a question as I am leaving urgently for a week! I'm leaving my child, who is 1 year and 6 months old, with my mother. I'm worried about how it will go, especially at night when it's time to sleep, he might look for me ?. Has anyone experienced this? Did your children adapt? How did they cope? I'm really worried about this (please share your experiences).

Hello! I understand your concern, but don't worry too much. Children are very adaptable and can get used to new circumstances. Your child will likely miss you, especially at the beginning, but with their mother, they will be safe and cared for. To ease the transition period, try to create as comfortable conditions as possible for your child in your absence. Leave toys or items they love so that they can feel more confident. If your child looks for you at night, try to comfort and soothe them by explaining that you will return soon. The mother will be able to comfort them and help them fall asleep. Every child is unique, and their reaction to a parent's absence can vary. But generally, children quickly adapt to new circumstances, especially if they feel the care and love of their loved ones. My child has always been fine staying with the grandparents for a week or even more, at any age. But, we got them used to it. Have you never left them overnight? Are you breastfeeding?
