Has anyone else experienced this, is it normal for menstrual periods to start during breastfeeding? My child is 9 months old. Usually, they started lightly a couple of times, but I breastfed actively and they stopped, but now they are proceeding normally.

At 9 months, you're already starting to introduce solid foods, which means that milk consumption is decreasing, so that's why your period has returned. I breastfed for 2 months, and by the third month, my period came back very quickly.

I had very heavy lactation after both childbirths, and my periods resumed two months after giving birth. I was really envious of women who breastfed and went without periods for over a year 😄

Xumor , Actually, there's nothing to be envious of; it's all hormones that need to normalize quickly.

It's normal) mine started a month after giving birth, and occurred month-to-month, I breastfed for 1.5 years.
