Has anyone else experienced this, is it normal for menstrual periods to start during breastfeeding? My child is 9 months old. Usually, they started lightly a couple of times, but I breastfed actively and they stopped, but now they are proceeding normally.

Yes, this can happen to some women during breastfeeding. Menstruation may resume due to changes in the body's hormonal background after childbirth. Usually, this is not a serious problem, but if you have concerns or unusual symptoms, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

Of course it's normal, many people start having them regularly right after giving birth.

At 9 months, you're already starting to introduce solid foods, which means that milk consumption is decreasing, so that's why your period has returned. I breastfed for 2 months, and by the third month, my period came back very quickly.

I had very heavy lactation after both childbirths, and my periods resumed two months after giving birth. I was really envious of women who breastfed and went without periods for over a year ?

Xumor, Actually, there's nothing to be envious of; it's all hormones that need to normalize quickly.
