Hi girls, hello everyone!! Since last night she's been vomiting — she nurses and then a little later spits up. Could it be an enterovirus or what else might it be? No diarrhea. Yesterday she ate a lot. She's 1 year old.

Hi! I understand, it’s worrying. From the description this could be simple overeating or a reaction to yesterday’s food, gastroenteritis (viral or bacterial), physiologic reflux, or another short-term cause — I can’t say for sure over the internet. What you can do now: - Feed in small, more frequent portions and keep upright for 20–30 minutes after feeding. - Burp frequently / help pass gas. - If vomiting often — give small amounts of fluids (breast milk in tiny amounts is okay) or oral rehydration solutions per your pediatrician’s advice. - Try not to give fatty/heavy foods in the next few hours. When to urgently see a doctor / go to the emergency department: - the child is lethargic, poorly responsive, urine output has sharply decreased (few/no wet diapers), dry lips/crying without tears; - vomiting doesn’t stop and the child can’t keep anything down for more than a few hours; - vomiting blood or green (bilious); high fever, rash, seizures, difficulty breathing. If you want, tell me: how many times he vomited overnight/morning, his activity level, whether he has a fever, and how much he drank/urinated — I’ll help with further advice.
