My baby also has one loop around her neck, and it won’t let me rest.. but I’ve already gathered a bunch of stories about how even with a triple loop there were no problems in labor The doctor said not to worry — labor is being monitored by CTG machines now, and if something goes wrong the doctors will see it

Анастасия , I was told there's no indication for a C-section, that one loop of the cord isn't a big deal, but the doctors need to be very careful, and I'm still worried.

Дарья , My doctor actually told me, "It would be better if you didn't know this, since the information only brings worry and is useless, but I couldn't help telling you."

During my first pregnancy the umbilical cord was wrapped twice and the baby was in the wrong position. The doctor advised getting into the cat pose (on knees and elbows) and holding it for about 10–15 minutes so the baby would turn. It really helped me — the baby moved into the correct position and the cord unwound.

Катрин , I was told to stand like that too, the baby lay down properly but didn't move.

I currently have a double loop of the umbilical cord around the baby's neck. The follow-up check will be at 38 weeks. Otherwise, I'll be having CTGs more often and monitoring the baby's movements.

My baby also had a double nuchal cord, they used gel to induce labor, I gave birth naturally.
