Girls, could you please tell me when you started introducing solids? I read different information and thought I would talk to the pediatrician closer to 6 months and introduce solids at 6 months. Today we had a routine checkup with the pediatrician. She says it's preferable to start around 4-5 months. The earlier the baby starts eating from a spoon, the higher the chance that they will speak on time. Overall, the pediatrician was very good. Only the recommendation regarding weaning caused some questions. In any case, I said I would study it, look at the child's condition and decide in 5 or 6 months whether to introduce solids.
