My mom gave birth at 19 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I grew up as a relatively healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It was unexpected: I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению большинства акушеров-гинекологов наиболее удачный период для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит предварительно переживать, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как идеальный возраст для рождения детей. Осложнения могут появляться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в равной степени. Все обуславливается определенными характеристиками организма. Чтобы женщина успешно родила в 19, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться специалисту.
