My mother gave birth at 20 years old easily. She never had any problems with me, I grew up quite healthy. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What a surprise: I am as old as she was then. Can I also hope for a smooth delivery?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее оптимальный возраст для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит заранее бить тревогу, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не существует такого термина как идеальный возраст для рождения детей. Осложнения могут развиваться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в идентичной степени. Все обуславливается индивидуальными особенностями организма. Чтобы будущая мама удачно родила в 20, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
