My mother gave birth at 20 without complications. She never had any problems with me growing up, I was a healthy child. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I'm pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению многих специалистов наиболее оптимальный возраст для появления ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит предварительно волноваться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Проблемы могут появляться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в одинаковой степени. Все связано с конкретными свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина успешно родила в 20, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться специалисту.
