My mom had me at 20. She never had any problems with me, I developed relatively smoothly as a child. Recently, I found out that I'm carrying a baby in my belly. What a surprise: I'm also of that age. Can I expect the birth to be smooth too?

По мнению многих специалистов наиболее подходящий период для появления ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит сразу беспокоиться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого понятия как оптимальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Сложности могут появляться среди молодых и в зрелых годах рожениц практически в равной степени. Все определяется конкретными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама легко родила в 20, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных указаний и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться акушеру.
