My mom had me at 20. She never had any problems with me, I developed relatively healthily as a child. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What's unexpected is that I am also the same age. Can I expect that childbirth will be smooth too?

По мнению многих специалистов наиболее удачный возраст для появления ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит сразу бить тревогу, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не существует такого понятия как наилучший возраст для родоразрешения детей. Сложности могут развиваться среди молодых и в зрелых годах рожениц почти в одинаковой степени. Все определяется конкретными свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина легко родила в 20, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных указаний и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не паниковать и довериться акушеру.
