My mother gave birth at 22 without complications. She never had any problems with me growing up, I was a healthy child. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I'm pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее оптимальный возраст для рождения ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно заранее переживать, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого термина как наилучший возраст для родов детей. Проблемы могут развиваться среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц практически в одинаковой степени. Все связано с индивидуальными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама удачно родила в 22, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не бояться и довериться специалисту.
