My mom gave birth at 28 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I grew up quite healthy. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What's unexpected is that I am as old as her. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению многих акушеров-гинекологов наиболее удачный возраст для появления ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не рекомендуется сразу беспокоиться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. В действительности не существует такого термина как наилучший возраст для рождения детей. Проблемы могут возникать среди юных и зрелых рожениц практически в равной степени. Все обуславливается индивидуальными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама удачно родила в 28, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время беременности ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не опасаться и довериться медицинскому персоналу.
