My mother gave birth at 37 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed into a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What a surprise: I am as old as she was. Can I also expect that childbirth will be problem-free?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее удачный период для рождения малыша – от двадцати до тридцати лет. Однако не стоит сразу беспокоиться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого термина как оптимальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Осложнения могут развиваться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц почти в идентичной степени. Все определяется конкретными свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина беспроблемно родила в 37, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не бояться и довериться акушеру.
