My mother gave birth at 38 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed relatively smoothly as a child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What a surprise: I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be problem-free?

По мнению многих специалистов наиболее удачный период для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не нужно заранее переживать, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого термина как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Осложнения могут появляться среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц практически в равной степени. Все определяется конкретными характеристиками организма. Чтобы будущая мама удачно родила в 38, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и здорового образа жизни во время беременности ребенка, своевременно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
