My mother gave birth at 39 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed relatively smoothly as a child. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What's unexpected is that I am also the same age. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению большинства врачей наиболее удачный возраст для появления ребенка – от двадцати до тридцати лет. Однако не нужно предварительно бить тревогу, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как оптимальный возраст для рождения детей. Трудности могут развиваться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в равной степени. Все связано с индивидуальными особенностями организма. Чтобы будущая мама удачно родила в 39, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться акушеру.
