My mom gave birth at 39 years old easily. She had no problems during my pregnancy, I was a rather clumsy child growing up. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant too. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect a smooth delivery?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее удачный период для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит сразу беспокоиться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как идеальный возраст для рождения детей. Осложнения могут возникать среди юных и зрелых рожениц практически в равной степени. Все обуславливается имеющимися особенностями организма. Чтобы будущая мама легко родила в 39, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться акушеру.
