My mom gave birth at 41 years old easily. She never had any problems with me, I grew up as a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm in the same age category as her. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее удачный возраст для появления ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит предварительно бить тревогу, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как оптимальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Сложности могут развиваться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц практически в одинаковой степени. Все связано с конкретными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама легко родила в 41, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не бояться и довериться акушеру.
