My mother gave birth at 42 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed into a fairly healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What is unexpected: I am as old as she was. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее лучший период для появления ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит предварительно переживать, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как идеальный возраст для рождения детей. Трудности могут появляться среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц почти в одинаковой степени. Все определяется конкретными особенностями организма. Чтобы будущая мама беспроблемно родила в 42, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и здорового образа жизни во время беременности ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не паниковать и довериться акушеру.
