My mom gave birth at 44 years old easily. She never had any problems with me, I grew up quite healthy. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What's amazing is that I'm as old as she was. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению многих специалистов наиболее подходящий возраст для появления ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не нужно заранее волноваться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не существует такого понятия как оптимальный возраст для рождения детей. Трудности могут развиваться среди молодых и в зрелых годах рожениц почти в идентичной степени. Все определяется определенными свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина удачно родила в 44, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не паниковать и довериться медицинскому персоналу.
