My mom gave birth at 44 without complications. She never had any problems with me growing up, I was a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What's unexpected is that I'm as old as I am. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее оптимальный период для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не рекомендуется предварительно беспокоиться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого термина как идеальный возраст для рождения детей. Сложности могут появляться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в идентичной степени. Все определяется индивидуальными особенностями организма. Чтобы будущая мама успешно родила в 44, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных указаний и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться медицинскому персоналу.
