My mom gave birth at 44 without complications. She never had any problems with me growing up, I was a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be simple?

По мнению многих специалистов наиболее удачный возраст для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не нужно предварительно переживать, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого термина как оптимальный возраст для родов детей. Осложнения могут развиваться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц почти в равной степени. Все определяется имеющимися свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама успешно родила в 44, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться акушеру.
