My mother gave birth at 48 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed into a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What's amazing is that I am as old as she was. Can I also expect a smooth delivery?

По мнению большинства врачей наиболее оптимальный период для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно сразу беспокоиться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого термина как наилучший возраст для родов детей. Осложнения могут развиваться среди юных и зрелых рожениц практически в равной степени. Все обуславливается имеющимися свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина успешно родила в 48, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных указаний и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не паниковать и довериться специалисту.
