My mother gave birth at 48 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I grew up quite healthy. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What's unexpected is that I am as old as her. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению большинства врачей наиболее лучший возраст для рождения ребенка – от двадцати до тридцати лет. Однако не стоит сразу беспокоиться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого понятия как идеальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Проблемы могут развиваться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц практически в одинаковой степени. Все обуславливается имеющимися особенностями организма. Чтобы женщина легко родила в 48, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время беременности ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
