My mother gave birth at 49 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed relatively smoothly as a child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What a surprise: I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be easy?

По мнению многих специалистов наиболее подходящий возраст для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно заранее переживать, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого понятия как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Осложнения могут развиваться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц почти в равной степени. Все связано с индивидуальными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама беспроблемно родила в 49, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время беременности ребенка, своевременно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не бояться и довериться медицинскому персоналу.
