My mom gave birth at 50 years old easily. She never had any difficulties with me, I was a rather uncoordinated child growing up. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению большинства врачей наиболее лучший период для появления ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно сразу волноваться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого термина как наилучший возраст для рождения детей. Сложности могут появляться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц почти в идентичной степени. Все определяется имеющимися свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама беспроблемно родила в 50, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться специалисту.
