My mother gave birth at 50 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed into a fairly healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What is unexpected: I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее оптимальный возраст для рождения ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно заранее бить тревогу, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. В действительности не существует такого термина как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Осложнения могут развиваться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц почти в равной степени. Все обуславливается индивидуальными особенностями организма. Чтобы будущая мама удачно родила в 50, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться акушеру.
