My mother gave birth at 50 years old easily. She never had any difficulties with me, I grew up quite healthy. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What's unexpected is that I am as old as her. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее лучший возраст для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит сразу беспокоиться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого термина как наилучший возраст для рождения детей. Трудности могут появляться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в равной степени. Все обуславливается индивидуальными свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина беспроблемно родила в 50, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время беременности ребенка, своевременно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родах не паниковать и довериться медицинскому персоналу.
