My mom gave birth at 52 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I grew up a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It was unexpected: I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее подходящий возраст для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно сразу бить тревогу, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как наилучший возраст для рождения детей. Осложнения могут развиваться среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц практически в одинаковой степени. Все определяется конкретными характеристиками организма. Чтобы будущая мама успешно родила в 52, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
