My mother gave birth at 52 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed relatively smoothly as a child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What a surprise: I am as old as she is. Can I also hope for a smooth delivery?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее оптимальный возраст для рождения ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит сразу переживать, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не существует такого термина как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Трудности могут возникать среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц почти в идентичной степени. Все обуславливается определенными свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина успешно родила в 52, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться медицинскому персоналу.
